On this page you will find our school's risk assessment for Heat-Health Alerts. A Heat-Health Alert is issued by the UKHSA (United Kingdom Health Security Agency) in partnership with the Met Office in the event of a prolonged period of high temperatures.
The risk assessment that was in place for the duration of the Coronavirus pandemic has been left on this page for reference. In May 2023 the World Health Organisation declared that Coronavirus was no longer a Health Emergency. The government no longer requires organisations to have a specific risk assessment.

Coronavirus – Advice for parents and families Anyone who feels safer by wearing a face covering in our school is welcome to do so. If your child tests positive for covid-19, the school advises that he or she should stay at home for three days. The suggested isolation period for adults is five days. If you have any of these symptoms you should order a PCR test. You are advised to stay at home and avoid contact with other people while you are waiting for the test result. Other symptoms linked with COVID-19 include shortness of breath, fatigue, loss of appetite, muscle ache, sore throat, headache, stuffy or runny nose, diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting. Any of these symptoms may also have another cause. If you are concerned about your symptoms, or they are worsening, contact 111 or speak to your GP. In an emergency dial 999.
