We are learning about the Pope’s Encyclical

‘Fratelli Tutti’ which means “all brothers and sisters” and is taken from the Admonitions of Saint Francis of Assisi. At the beginning of the encyclical, Pope Francis draws our attention to point 25 of the Admonitions, in which Saint Francis “calls for a love that transcends the barriers of geography and distance, and declares blessed all those who love their brother ‘as much when he is far away from him as when he is with him’,” (FT, 1).

We have been learning through the CAFOD resources about our brothers and sisters around the world.

Thanksgiving Mass -The Year 2 Thanksgiving Mass will be in the School Hall at 9.15am.

It is a celebratory Mass to give thanks for your child’s learning and time spent in the Infant school. Please do come if you are able to.
