Headteacher's Newsletter

Friday 13 February 2026

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we come to the end of this half term, I would like to thank every member of our school community for the commitment, care and hard work shown each and every day. This has been a demanding half term, but one filled with happiness, learning and real growth for our children. Seeing the dedication of staff, the enthusiasm of our pupils and the continued support of families has been a genuine source of pride.

This Sunday’s Gospel (Matthew 5:17–37) reminds us that faith is not simply about following rules, but about living with integrity, kindness and love in our daily actions. That message has been lived out across our school this half term in countless ways, through patience, perseverance and the quiet, consistent acts of care that so often go unnoticed but make the greatest difference.

I would like to wish everyone a well-deserved, restful half term break, with a little sunshine if we are lucky. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday 23rd February 2026, refreshed and ready for the next chapter of learning together.

Thank you, as always, for being such a strong and supportive community.

Private Schools Swimming Gala

We would like to extend our sincere congratulations and thanks to Miss Aherne and our Swim Squad following their outstanding success at the highly competitive Private Schools Gala. The team demonstrated exceptional commitment and determination, and their hard work was rewarded with the highest overall score of all schools competing which is a truly remarkable achievement.

The success of the squad is a direct result of the discipline, perseverance and teamwork shown throughout their training. Our thanks also go to Miss Aherne and Miss Gengan for the considerable time, energy and expertise they have given in preparing the children so thoroughly for this event. Their dedication has made a lasting impact, not only on performance but on the confidence and resilience of the swimmers.

As we are reminded in Scripture:

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” (Colossians 3:23)

We are incredibly proud of everyone involved and thank them for representing our school with such excellence, sportsmanship and pride.

Yours faithfully,

Sarah Fizul
